چکیده

مقدمه: به موازات رشد جمعیت سالمندی و تغییرات عمیق اجتماعی، اقتصادی و فرهنگی، بررسی درک سالمندان از میزان منزلت و عزت­نفس آنها اهمیت خاصی دارد، لذا مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی همبستگی بین منزلت درک شده و عزت نفس در سالمندان شهرستان سیرجان انجام شد.
مواد و روش ­ها: این مطالعه توصیفی در بین 374 نفر از مراجعه­کنندگان مراکز جامع خدمات سلامت شهرستان سیرجان که دارای پرونده خانوار بودند، در سال 1397 انجام شد. نمونه­ها به صورت تصادفی سهمیه­ای از 6 مرکز شهری و 2 مرکز روستایی انتخاب شدند. اطلاعات با استفاده از پرسشنامه­های عزت نفس روزنبرگ، منزلت اجتماعی درک شده جکلونJacelon Attributed Dignity scale (JADS)  و پرسشنامه اطلاعات دموگرافیک و اجتماعی روانی جمع­آوری گردیدند. تحلیل اطلاعات با آزمون­های توصیفی و تحلیلی مانند ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن، من ویتنی و کراسکال والیس انجام شد.
یافته­ ها: بین میانگین متغیر عزت نفس (583/0±61/3) و متغیر منزلت درک شده (445/0±67/3) همبستگی معنی­داری (001/0) وجود دارد و ضریب همبستگی(638/0) می باشد . سالمندان متأهل از نمرات بالاتری برخوردار بودند.
نتیجه­ گیری: نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد بین عزت نفس و منزلت درک شده همبستگی مستقیم و قوی وجود دارد. سالمندان متأهل در مراقبت از خود توانمندتر، مسئولیت پذیرتر، و در امور اجتماعی فعال­تر هستند.

چکیده [English]

Introduction: Along with the growth of the aging population and profound social, economic, and cultural changes, it is essential to study the understanding of the elderly about their dignity and self- esteem. Therefore, this study is conducted to determine the correlation between perceived dignity and self-esteem among the elderly in Sirjan.
Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was conducted among 374 patients referring to Sirjan health centers with household records in 2018. Samples were randomly selected from six urban and two rural centers. Data were gathered by Rosenberg Self-Esteem Questionnaire, Jellon Attributed Dignity Scale (JADS), and Social-Demographic Questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by spss18 and descriptive and analytic tests of Spearman correlation coefficient, Mann-Whitney, and Kruskal-Wallis with a significant leve. (p<0/05)
Results: The results showed a significant correlation between mean self-esteem (3.61 ± 0.883) and perceived dignity (3.67 ± 0.444), with the correlation coefficient (0/638).
Conclusion: The results of this study show a direct correlation between self-esteem and perceived dignity. Further,  the elderly are shown to be more capable, responsible, and active in social affairs in self-care.
