ارتباط سلامت معنوی و بروز افکار خودکشی در دانشجویان دانشکده پرستاری و مامایی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان در سال 1393

چکیده

مقدمه: سلامت معنوی نقش مهمی در کاهش اختلالات روحی و روانی دارد و امروزه مورد توجه بسیاری از روانشناسان دینی قرار گرفته است. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی سلامت معنوی و بروز افکار خودکشی در دانشجویان دانشکده پرستاری و مامایی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان صورت گرفت.

مواد و روش ­ها: در این مطالعه توصیفی، جامعه پژوهش شامل314 نفر از دانشجویان دانشکده پرستاری و مامایی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان در سال 1393 بود که به صورت سرشماری مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. ابزار پژوهش پرسشنامه سلامت معنوی پولتزین و الیسون و بروز افکار خودکشی بک بود. داده­ها با استفاده از آزمون­های t-test، دو نمونه‌ای و ضریب همبستگی پیرسون استفاده شد. مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.

یافته‌ها: نتایج مطالعه نشان داد که سلامت معنوی در حد متوسط و افکار خودکشی دانشجویان دانشکده پرستاری و مامایی به ترتیب در حد متوسط و کم ‌بود و میان سلامت معنوی و میزان بروز افکار خودکشی  همبستگی منفی یافت شد (0001/0>p). هم‌چنین متغیرهای جنسیت، وضعیت تأهل، سابقه‌ی مصرف دارو و مقطع تحصیلی بر نمره‌ی سلامت معنوی تأثیرگذار بودند (05/0≥p). دانشجویانی که سابقه‌ی مصرف دارو و اضطراب داشتند از افکار خودکشی بالاتری برخوردار بودند و این اختلافات از لحاظ آماری معنی‌دار بود (05/0>p).

نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه اینکه سلامت معنوی منجر به کاهش بروز افکار خودکشی می‌شود. این نتایج اهمیت پرداختن به موضوع معنویت در بین دانشجویان پرستاری و مامایی را نشان می‌دهد و لازم است برای ارتقای سطح معنویت دانشجویان
برنامه ­ریزی‌های لازم صورت گیرد.

Introduction: Spiritual health has an important role in reducing mental disorders. The present study was carried out in order to investigate the association between spiritual well-being and the outbreak of suicidal ideation in the students at the faculty of nursing and midwifery in Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences.

Material and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, the population consisted of 314 students at the faculty of nursing and midwifery in Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences in 2015, who were selected by census method. Data were gathered using the palutzian & Ellison questionnaire of spiritual well-being and Beck questionnaire. The obtained data were then analyzed using the SPSS-version 20 and parametric statistical tests.

Results: Results showed that Spiritual health condition was in the average range and the suicidal thoughts were at moderate to low levels in the nursing and midwifery students respectively. There was a negative correlation between Spiritual health and suicidal thoughts.

Conclusion: Considering the fact that spiritual health decreases suicidal thoughts, the issue of spirituality in nursing and midwifery students is of considerable importance. Therefore, promoting the spirituality of the nursing and midwifery students should be planned along with the educational goals.
