If it occurs in children, it is considered a threat to life or infected organ. The treatment of this disease is difficult and usually involves long periods of antibiotic therapy. Nursing care based on the "Roy’s Adaptation Model" can be effective in improving the level of adjustment, better control of disease and increasing the quality of life. This study aimed to evaluate the "Roy’s Adaptation Model" in the care of a child with osteomyelitis. Case presentation: This study is a case report that examined the "Roy’s Adaptation Model of Nursing" in the care of a child with osteomyelitis hospitalized in the pediatric ward of Ali Ibn Abi Talib Hospital of Rafsanjan, 2024. The child was selected through convenience sampling method. A checklist prepared based on the dimensions of the "Roy’s Adaptation Model of Nursing" was the data collection tool. Data were collected using observation, interview, and patient documentation, and analyzed in four dimensions based on the stages of the "Roy’s Adaptation Model of Nursing". Based on the data, 13 nursing diagnoses were made in four modes (physiological, self-concept, role function, interdependence), and nursing care was implemented and evaluated for the child based on the Roy's model. Conclusion: According to the results, nursing care based on the adaptation model can be effective in physical and psychological adaptation and reduction of maladaptive behaviors in children with osteomyelitis. Therefore, the use of nursing models in the patient care program is recommended. مقدمه: استئومیلیت، عفونت استخوان است که به طور معمول توسط باکتریها ایجاد میشود و در صورت رخداد در کودکان، تهدیدی برای زندگی و اندام درگیر است. درمان این بیماری دشوار بوده و معمولاً دورههای طولانی مدت مصرف آنتیبیوتیک نیاز دارد. مراقبت مبتنی بر <span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Cambria;">"مدل سازگاری روی<span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Cambria;">" میتواند در ارتقای سطح سازگاری، کنترل بهتر بیماری و افزایش کیفیت زندگی مؤثر باشد. هدف از این مطالعه، استفاده از <span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Cambria;">"مدل سازگاری کالیستا روی<span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Cambria;">" در مراقبت از کودک مبتلا به استئومیلیت بود. مواد و روشها: این پژوهش یک گزارش مورد است که مدل پرستاری<span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Cambria;">"سازگاری روی<span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Cambria;">" را در مراقبت از کودک مبتلا به استئومیلیت بستری در بخش کودکان بیمارستان علی ابنابیطالب(ع) رفسنجان در سال 1403 مورد بررسی قرار داد. کودک مورد بررسی به روش در دسترس انتخاب شد. چکلیست تهیه شده بر اساس ابعاد <span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Cambria;">"مدل پرستاری روی<span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Cambria;">" ابزار جمعآوری دادهها بود . دادهها با استفاده از مشاهده، مصاحبه و مستندات بیمار جمعآوری شد و در چهار بعد، بر اساس مراحل فرایند پرستاری مدل سازگاری روی، تجزیه و تحلیل گردید. بر اساس دادهها، 13 تشخیص پرستاری در چهار بعد (فیزیولوژیک، مفهوم خود، ایفای نقش و وابستگی متقابل) گذاشته شد و مراقبت پرستاری بر اساس مدل سازگاری روی، برای کودک اجرا و ارزشیابی گردید. نتیجه گیری: با توجه به نتایج مطالعه حاضر، اجرای مراقبت پرستاری مبتنی بر مدل سازگاری روی، می‌تواند بر سازگاری جسمی، روانی و کاهش رفتارهای ناسازگار در کودکان مبتلا به استئومیلیت مؤثر باشد. لذا، استفاده از مدلهای پرستاری در برنامه مراقبتی بیماران پیشنهاد میشود.
