Clinical education stressors from views of nursing students in Rafsanjan nursing and midwifery school 2013

Abstract

  Background and objective: Nursing students are faced with many stressors that can have negative effects not only on their success, but also learning and academic performance. Being aware of the sources of stressors and limiting them and raises the level of scientific and professional knowledge of students can provide a suitable environment. This study aimed to determine the stressful factors in clinical education from views nursing students of Rafsanjan University and midwifery school.   Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive cross- sectional study. The population of the study consisted of three to eight nursing students were selected through census sampling. Data were collected using questionnairs and self Reporsing. data were analyzed by spss software using descriptive and analytic test.   Results: According to the findings, notification instructor of personnel and physicians. Odors in part, incomplete and unfinished treatment from doctor, Wandering in the educational environment and cleaning patient after defecation. Were the major of stressors. bladder catheterization was stressful procedure align with other procedures.   Conclusions: Since stressors will affect objectives of clinical education, provided clinical education objectives fields for remove or reduce of these factors is necessary.   Keywords: stress, nursing students, clinical education
