Abstract

  Introduction: Coronary artery diseases (CAD) are the most common, costly and debilitating diseases and identify factors that may help predict where necessary. The purpose of study was evaluation the correlation between the earlobe crease (ELC) and coronary artery disease in patients referred for coronary angiography in Rafsanjan.   Materials and methods: We evaluated 320 patients in coronary angiography department for ELC and severity of CAD and other variables. Data analyzed with chi-Square and logistic regression. Results: 68.8% had CAD that 32.7% of them had no ELC, 43.6% moderate ELC and 23.6% severe that difference was significant (p=0.01).
