Introduction: Mood disorders including depression are the most common and most serious mental disorders among people. Students as a high risk group are also known for developing this disorder. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of perfectionism and daily stresses on predicting the depression symptoms among the students .  Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out on 477 students at Allameh TabatabaâI University through multiple cluster sampling. Participants responded to the questionnaires of demographic characteristics, perfectionism, daily stresses and depression symptoms.
